The Counterpoint Funds are managed by Jurika, Mills & Keifer, an independent investment advisory firm based in Oakland, California.

We are a new firm with a 25-year history. Our prior firm, Jurika & Voyles, was founded in 1981 and we built it to over $7 billion in individual and institutional assets under management before it was purchased in 1997.

Our new firm is built on a core set of values that have been central to our identity and process for more than 25 years.

Our investment approach, which we call Counterpoint, is a distillation of the same approach we have practiced over a quarter century. It is distinguished by independent thinking, practical business judgment and a long-term perspective. We invest as rational business owners and focus on quality and valuation. We believe in concentration and are willing to make significant investments contrary to consensus opinion where we discern value and opportunity.

The Counterpoint Select Fund is our flagship fund for this strategy. It is a non-diversified, no-load mutual fund, and is designed to be our primary investment vehicle for this strategy for our own personal investments.
